Details: Leading bassplayers from all over the world come together to showcase and demonstrate their talent, during performances and master-classes at Bass Day UK on Sunday, the 19th of November. The 11-hour music event will draw hundreds of bass enthusiasts from all corners of the globe to the two floors of the Life Cafe in Manchester city centre.
Following last years successful concept, the all-day event allows the public to meet top musicians in an informal, casual setting, giving them opportunities to learn and gain advice from professional bass players.

With so many different musicians, the public is exposed to a broad selection of music styles, bass playing techniques and different types of bass sounds. Especially for beginning players and students, the event provides great enrichment opportunities.
Next to the artists, a wide range of name brands are represented. Creator of the Jazz Bass Fender, all instrument manufacturer Yamaha, Warwick, Rotosound Strings, as well as Dawsons Music shop, luthiers Shuker and Overwater and many more, take part in the event. Visitors can try out the latest models of production as well as custom build instruments, effects, amps and the like at various stands over two floors of the venue.
Bass Day UK 2006 will take place at the Life Cafe, 23 Peter Street, Manchester M2 5 QR.
